At Our Second Right, our mission is clear: to build a culture that values the principles of individual liberty and responsible gun ownership.
Now more than ever, it’s evident that we are our own first line of defense. Yet, the attitude towards the Second Amendment is becoming increasingly more hostile.
The challenges we’re facing today are modern (mass shootings, radical ideologies, defunding police), but our fundamentals are proven: the responsibility of personal defense ultimately falls on the individual.
The principle is clear, but that doesn’t make it easy to apply. Should the government regulate how I defend myself? When is it appropriate to use deadly force? How do we interpret the Second Amendment? Should certain weapons be banned? Where is the best place to get training?
That’s why I built Our Second Right. The truth is, most people are misinformed on Second Amendment issues. We all start our quest for truth with good intentions, but things get in the way. Politicians with agendas (from both sides), media bias, personal experience, and loss of loved ones to violence.
Our mission is simple: to educate people and build a culture of liberty minded Americans. We do that through informative articles, podcasts, calls to action, books and our community.
